At the heart of the farm is a beautiful 2,400 sq.ft. courtyard home sustainably built, that takes one back in time to Karnataka’s courtyard homes of yore. Blending a few modern conveniences with the traditional, this house is a delicate work of architecture serving as an ode to mud-based construction, natural dye paints and reused materials.
Large verandahs, an open courtyard and generous common spaces make it a wonderful place to spend time together, whether over leisurely breakfasts, afternoon naps or long conversations. The house embraces an open, breezy design that fills every room with natural light, fresh air and an incredibly welcoming feel.
Perhaps our favourite part? Not a single piece of furniture was bought from a store. Everything you see in the house has been lovingly passed down through generations of the family. From wooden chairs and cabinets to dining tables and everyday objects, each piece has lived a full life before finding a place here, giving the home warmth, stories and a timeless charm that’s hard to put into words.
